The construction project at Table Mesa Shopping Center continues to move forward with Phase 1 wrapping up this weekend.

On Monday, June 20th, the parking lot in Phase 1 will be striped and then opened to traffic.  Once Phase 1 officially opens its parking lot, the Phase 2 area will close down for construction.  Phase 2 is on located on the north side of Southern Sun and Under the Sun along South Broadway and should last about 6 weeks.  Click here to see the construction phase plan.

The parking in Phase 1 should be open this weekend, even though the striping hasn’t been completed yet.  Work on lighting and landscaping in the Phase 1 area will resume on June 20th.

Events at Table Mesa Shopping Center

There are some events to take note of at the shopping center over the next few days.   On Sunday, June 19th, Boulder Cycle Sports will use a portion of the southeast corner of the Phase 1 parking lot for a check point during the Urban Assault Ride.  Please be patient and watch for cyclists if you are in the area from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Wednesday, June 22nd it is Bike to Work day!  The South Side Walnut Cafe will be celebrating by serving hot breakfast and coffee to cyclists who stop by between 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.  The restaurant will be using a portion of the parking lot for that event.  Click here to learn more about South Side Walnut Cafe’s Bike to Work Day plans.
