One by one we are crossing items off our construction to-do list at the shopping center. It is exciting to see phases completed and coming together. Your patience has been crucial through this process, and we appreciate it.

In phase two you will notice the stairs between Southern Sun and Neptune Mountaineering are partially open. There are a few things that still need to be complete however: treads are being sent in for powder coating, stacked stone accents, punched metal panel and some back lighting are still going in. But now that these steps are open, demolition will begin on the east stairs between Southern Sun and Boulder Cycle Sport on October 24. Landscaping continues in this phase as well.

Phase three needs some sod and festoon lighting to be completed.

Parking relief has arrived for phase five, with one exception. An area near Tsing Tao should be poured the week of October 24. The patio by Snarf’s will have a lot of construction and should see major improvement in the coming weeks.

Laying asphalt continues the week of October 24 in phase six. We hope to stripe the lot by Wednesday and open it up to the public that afternoon once it is dry. This is exciting since it is the final large-scale parking disruption of the project!

Other small ongoing projects:

  • Work on the Hanover intersection — Wednesday, October 26-Friday, October 28
  • Repair the drive pan on the entrance off Broadway to Lucky’s patio (dates being finalized)
  • Bike racks, landscaping, benches and play structures will be installed as they are ready
