Lucky’s Market set to open flagship store in south Boulder

July 13, 2016

When Lucky’s Market opens in south Boulder on Aug. 10, it will be to great fanfare from local residents and businesses in the Table Mesa Shopping Center.

The flagship store was announced in July 2015 for the site formerly home to thrift store Savers at 695 S. Broadway. An early 2016 opening was planned. but coordination with the city planners and the landlord W.W. Reynolds’ own improvement projects for the center delayed plans — not only for Lucky’s but for a now-opened Snarf’s and a still-in-the-works Walgreen’s.

Walgreens in south Boulder expected to open in July 2017

May 16, 2016

The developers of a 13,000-square-foot Walgreens planned for south Boulder said Tuesday that they expect the pharmacy to open by the summer of 2017 at the Table Mesa Shopping Center.

Last week, the Boulder Planning Board had an opportunity to call the project up for further discussion, but declined to do so. With the call-up period having expired, city planner Chandler Van Schaack said that the development group, Evergreen Devco, will likely have the permits necessary to begin construction by November.

History

The Table Mesa Shopping Center was constructed in several phases from 1961 through the mid-80s. It was developed and continuously managed by the Reynolds Family of companies, who have been and continue to be headquartered in downtown Boulder. This renovation has been several years in the planning and shows continued commitment to the neighborhood and the many locally owned businesses that call our center home. We hope that the surrounding residents will continue to support these businesses over the next several months as our work progresses, and come check out the center as we complete each of the six phases.
