Last week, we finally saw some wintry weather as the season’s first snow came and went. We were still able to get some significant progress completed despite the weather, but the snow did force a slight delay. In light of the setback, we would like to thank you for your ongoing cooperation and continued patience throughout the construction process.
Unfortunately, last week’s weather forced us to bump the concrete work scheduled by Hanover avenue to early this week (Monday and Tuesday). We have made some progress and are still working on the stairs and tiered patio by Snarf’s. Additionally, we have numerous punchlist items that we will continue to make progress on.
All of the playground mulch will be in by Tuesday, Nov. 22, and each of the playground areas will be open by Thanksgiving, though we are still waiting on a few pieces of play equipment to be shipped. In celebration of Thanksgiving, we will have no construction work going on Thursday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 27.
We have completely upgraded our holiday lighting program this year and all of the holiday lighting is up. Now that the shopping center is decked out in the festive spirit, we hope you are enjoying the extra holiday cheer, just in time for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday shopping.
